     DIGITAL COURT REPORTING     Application

28 Weeks (84 hours)

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is designed to produce efficient, proficient, and skilled digital court reporters. Dictation, computer, and word processing skills are developed throughout the course. The main focus is teaching students the skills required of a competent court reporter in the legal field. The course is a hands-on development plan with exposure to actual field situations.

PREREQUISITES

High school diploma or GED. Typing test administered by the South Carolina School of Court Reporting.

 

   TRANSCRIBING FOR COURT REPORTERS     Application

18 Weeks (54 hours)

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is designed to produce efficient, proficient, and skilled transcriptionists for digital court reporters. Computer and word processing skills are developed throughout the course. The main focus is teaching students the skills required of a competent transcriptionist in the legal field. The course is a hands-on development plan with exposure to actual field situations.

PREREQUISITES

High school diploma or GED. Typing test administered by the South Carolina School of Court Reporting.

 

   VOICE RECOGNTION - REDICATATION     Application

10 Hours  (3 weeks)

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is designed to increase the production of pages produced by typists and court reporters.  The course is a hands-on development plan with exposure to actual field situations.
